Huaikuan Sun is a MS student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida, concentrating on machine learning and computer vision. He is working on utilizing the GPN-MSA model, a DNA large language model based on BERT to generate the probabilities of nucleotide at each genomic position, and transfer learning to the prediction of non-coding genetic variant functional effects.
